Amy started her career as a middle school History teacher. After 18 years of teaching, she was able to take her love for technology and assisting educators into a role as an Instructional Technology Coach for 3 years. Amy is passionate about building positive relationships with educators, developing professional learning opportunities and helping educators create and support effective digital learning environments to maximize learning, provide differentiated and collaborative instruction and create an engaging learning experience for all learners.


Beth is passionate about sharing the power of educational technology with teachers around the world. She is a Google Innovator and Trainer who believes technology should be used to empower students and teachers. When she isn’t working, chances are you will find her crafting, painting, cheering at her daughter’s soccer games, or hanging out with her three incredibly spoiled dogs.


Britt is passionate about helping schools find the perfect Hāpara solution for their classrooms. She is an insatiable traveler, but when she isn’t wandering a new city with her camera she can usually be found checking out a new restaurant, exhibit, or event (and NOT putting ketchup on her hotdog) in Chicago.


Cam worked for 27 years as a classroom teacher and technology implementation coach before coming to Hāpara. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his friends, cooking, reading and hanging out with his dog.


Carrie spent 20+ years in technology education before coming to Hāpara. She enjoys working in her garden, reading, and watching way too much reality TV in her free time.


Dave is a former classroom teacher, IT Director and G Suite for Education Implementation Consultant with schools in the United States and United Arab Emirates. He’s as passionate about smart education technology solutions as he is about coaching proper form on the Clean and Jerk at CrossFit.


David has worked in senior financial and operational leadership roles in a number of industries, including financial services, software, and tech enabled manufacturing. His passion for education is evidenced by his recent tenure on his college alma mater’s board of trustees, and is active in advocating for foundations and endowments to be ESG investors. David is married, has three children and lives in Lafayette, CA.


Heather is a life-long learner, and is constantly changing and evolving her teaching philosophy. Heather has been in education for over 20 years in a wide range of classroom positions from Grade 1 to Grade 12. She lives in Canada with her husband and three children. She loves to travel and she has been to many amazing places around the world. She also loves going on adventures and spending as much time outdoors as possible.


Jay spent the first 8 years of his professional career in education. He taught P.E. for 8 years and was the Athletic Director for his school for 7 years. Most recently, he served in the role of Director of Remote Learning for his school. He’s excited to have the opportunity to help schools better serve their students and navigate the obstacles that exist in the 21st Century classroom. He likes to spend his free time rooting on his favorite Chicago sports teams and spending time with his two dogs, Harley and Riggins.


Before joining Hapara, I worked in educational technology supporting multiple schools. I enjoy all things Harry Potter. I also enjoy coaching and playing basketball whenever I get the chance.


Jean Luc has a decade worth of experience in Customer Service. He has held numerous roles in information Technology companies including leadership roles in Training, Support, and Engineering. Jean Luc heads the Customer Support and Implementation teams in Hāpara. In his spare time, he enjoys lifting heavy objects and enjoys playing sports.


John has 10+ years of experience in software engineering. He is passionate about automated testing and likes to test from a user’s point of view. He loves playing with his kids in his free time and snowboarding in winter.


Josh has worked with multiple education companies, crafting digital marketing campaigns and processes. He is also a motivational speaker for teens and young adults, helping them to build compassion, mindfulness and confidence on his YouTube channel.


Kaj comes from a family of educators, and is passionate about increasing accessibility, digital citizenship, and improving teacher workflows. He also has an extensive background in sales. When he isn’t talking about Hāpara, you can find him cooking (and eating) elaborate meals, talking about his new favorite restaurant or wandering around the city he is in at the moment.


Karel joins us as a Junior Software Engineer and has a background in design. He is passionate about using technology to solve problems, big and small, while hopefully making the world a slightly better place in the process. In his spare time he enjoys philosophy, meditation, and boardgames.


Kathryn spent her first 8 years of her professional career in public education as a 9-12 social studies teacher. She’s excited to utilize her passion for relationship building and problem solving to help educators integrate technology in their classrooms and improve students’ learning experiences. In her free time, Kathryn enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with her dog, Raleigh.


Kelsey comes to Hāpara with a background in education. Having used Hāpara in the classroom herself, she is passionate about bringing this tool to students and educators. Outside of work, Kelsey likes to hike with her dog Ash, try out new recipes, and watch home improvement shows.


Lenva has a strong educational background, working formerly as a school Senior Manager and Learning Leader, and she has been a facilitator for several Digital Learning clusters of schools in New Zealand. Lenva is committed to ensuring that digital learning solutions and best practices in teaching and learning are shared with teachers and school leaders for the most impact on student learning and achievement. She is a Google Certified Teacher as well as an Apple Distinguished Educator.


Lindsay started her career as a Spanish teacher. After 12 years of teaching kids of all ages, Lindsay merged her love of words and educating others into a career in technical communication. Her focus at Hāpara is helping educators love its digital tools as much as she does. When Lindsay isn’t working she is usually spending time with her kids and hubby, playing with her two very naughty dogs or out for a run.


Lisa enjoys finding innovative means of integrating technology into the classroom, with specialization in differentiation, engagement, and formative assessment. Lisa has completed almost 20 years in education, with experience in teaching secondary English language arts and reading. She is a Google Level 1 and 2 educator as well as an Apple Teacher, and has served many roles in instructional technology. In her free time, Lisa enjoys spending time with her husband, three kids, and two vicious weenie dogs.


Lisa has over 8 years experience as an educator. Being part of her school E-learning team she found her passion for Edtech. Lisa is an animal love, fitness fanatic, loves travel and adventures in the great outdoors.


Martin comes to us from Peace Software where he worked on agile/SOA rebuild projects. He keeps our developers moving efficiently by streamlining code and process. In his free time, Martin enjoys playing hard court bicycle polo.


Meagan is an experienced elementary educator with a strong understanding of primary and elementary learner development. Passionate about technology integration and digital citizenship, Meagan has been a Hāpara-using educator, a prolific Hāpara Workspace creator, a curriculum alignment editor, and a learning resource compilation manager for more than seven school districts. When she isn’t working, Meagan is spending time with her daughter and husband, going on adventures with her dog, or curling up with a good book.


Nancy has over a decade of design experience and has previously liaised with clients from various industries in an agency environment. At Hāpara, Nancy focuses on understanding the needs of today’s digital classrooms around the world, and is driven to design experiences that will help people. Outside of Hāpara, she enjoys exploring new places, photography, the cinema and good food.


Nara has close to two decades of product management experience. He has held numerous roles in software companies including directing engineering teams and product architecting. Nara heads Product direction, design & development at Hāpara. In his spare time he coaches cricket, volunteers for social causes, and experiments with cooking at the expense of his family.


Oleg has extensive software engineering experience. On top of this, he loves spending time with kids, hiking, snowboarding, and surfing.


Pac is passionate about solving problems and learning new things. In his spare time, he enjoys badminton and all kinds of RPG games.


In a past life Paul practiced Applied Behavioural Analysis in schools with children on the Autistic spectrum. Paul has since shifted his focus to Frontend Development and is now looking to get back into contributing to the world of education through technology.


Peter has 8 years of customer support experience in the Telecommunications industry. He helps the Hāpara team and Hāpara clients define the best path to success. Peter rebuilds motorbikes and old cars in his spare time, and is an avid fan of motorsports and skateboarding.


Raul brings with him a wealth of experience in product development/management. In his spare time, he loves to play basketball, badminton and table tennis.


Rich is passionate about helping educators create outstanding learning experiences for all learners. He is a former classroom teacher, administrator, and edtech company co-founder who loves teaching and learning. When he isn’t working, you might find him trail running, surfing, or herding his flock of backyard chickens.


Robert brings years of successful sales, marketing and entrepreneurial experience to his role as VP of Sales at Hāpara. Outside of Hāpara, you may find him playing tennis, working through his bucket list, painting his face for Seahawk games or traveling the world.


Robin coordinates all efforts to share Hāpara with the world. She started her career as a teacher, then principal, and has been working in edtech for nearly twenty years.


Roger has over 30 years experience in working with School Administrators and IT Directors, providing productivity solutions through the use of technology. In his spare time, you can often find Roger attending one of his son’s swim meets, spending time with his wife Lisa or supporting local sports teams. Go Hawks! Go M’s! Go Sounders! Go Thunderbirds!


Ryan helps school systems to find the best Hāpara solution for their needs. He is datadriven, applying his skills to helping Hāpara clients, and also to his pursuits as a homebrewer and youth football coach.


Siaw draws on her corporate experience with scaling software testing through script writing to make sure Hāpara tools work as expected. In addition to her passion for film, Siaw loves to travel to exotic places with her son.


I am a customer-focused test analyst with a passion for modern technology. Outside work, I spend the most time with my little ones, gardening, and visiting new places.


With over 20 years of experience as a developer, Stuart brings his skills to create performant, scalable solutions. When not tending the garden he enjoys playing board games and TTRPG’s.


Sushant strives to build effective and robust software solutions. He is a problem solver and enjoys getting new challenges every day. In his spare time, he loves going to the gym, cooking, and binge-watching Netflix series.


Tia has years of experience in professional selling. She loves cooking and in her spare time, looking after her three kids. She also helps her chef husband with running his little Indonesian cafe.


Wayne Poncia is a well-known thought leader in educational innovation in the United States and Canada. He has provided leadership to Silicon Valley EdTech companies whose products are used by millions of users. He has been a prominent player in introducing digital learning and education-focused applications on 4 continents. As Chief Executive Officer, Poncia looks after the product development, sales and customer success teams in New Zealand, Australia, Canada, UK and USA. He is responsible for portfolio planning, innovation horizons, resource allocation, and product success.


Wilson handles Hāpara’s software architecture, integration, and security. He is passionate about photography, cooking with his AirFryer, and tasteless tshirts.
