Celebrating its 12th year, the Edtech Awards is the world’s largest recognition program for education technology, recognizing the biggest names in edtech. The EdTech Awards recognizes people for outstanding contributions in transforming education through technology to enrich the lives of learners everywhere.
“The future-focused work they do is inspired by the infinite potential of all people to learn and thrive. It’s pushed forward by the human spirit. It’s the light that even through the darkest times always shines through,” Victor Rivero, Editor in Chief of EdTech Digest and director of the Edtech Awards.
“In this time of nonstop disruption, our team at Hāpara never lost their vision for learning impact. Hāpara stands for something special: equitable, evergreen, impactful and differentiated learning for teachers and students. I would not be recognized for the global impact of my work to date if the crowning achievement was not the most unique edtech company in the world: Hāpara. I am thankful to the team at Hāpara for giving me the opportunity to take credit for their important work and global reach. When we all put students first, everything else about learning falls into place. Thank you to the schools we serve who trust us as their true partner in learning innovation and student success (ask any of them!). Finally, I want to recognize that I am surrounded by a smart and visionary team, some of whom have been on this journey with me for more than a decade. Special shout out to Robin Gardiner Poncia who has been my partner in K-12 edtech and life for 32 years,”
