The winners of the prestigious EdTech Digest awards have been announced and the newly released Hāpara Student Dashboard has been named the winner of the Edtech Cool Tool Awards: New product or service category, and Hāpara as a finalist in the Edtech Trendsetter Awards: Edtech company setting a trend category.
“Hāpara being recognized as a finalist for EdTech Trendsetter by the EdTech Digest awards is an absolute honor and we appreciate the recognition! In addition, winning the 2020 Edtech Cool Tool award for Student Dashboard is exciting to our team of dedicated edtechies. I am told frequently that Hāpara is unique in the edtech industry in affordability, breadth of instructional management capability, and the evangelism of our millions of users/subscribers who use Hāpara daily and support each other within the Hāpara community. These two Edtech Digest awards validate the years of work our team has invested in helping teachers and students learn in hybrid and blended learning settings,” said Wayne Poncia, CEO, Hāpara.
Hāpara Student Dashboard was selected from a wide field of international edtech companies. The most recent product released from Hāpara, Student Dashboard was selected because of its pedagogical workability, efficacy and results, support, clarity, value and potential. Student Dashboard was developed to address the app-fatigue, multi-channel notifications and messages that many students deal with on a daily basis when they move throughout a large number of applications. This can be overwhelming and can result in frustration for students and teachers alike.
The Hāpara Product team worked with educators and students all over the world to understand the challenges they face, and the result was Student Dashboard. It brings together in one place the Hāpara Instructional Suite, G Suite and Google Classroom so students can feel confident about their learning and build critical executive functioning skills. “By providing a single unified interface to scan all this information across their computers and mobile devices, students are now able to stay on top of their school work,” said Nara Chilluvuri, Vice President: Product.
