Leading PLCs to Develop Shared Understandings

Digital Learning Environments for All Learners Webinar

In this short webinar, Louise Johnston will discuss what Professional Learning Communities are and how they can be used in a school or district to help educators come together around new curriculum initiatives. Louise will share tips for setting up PLCs in your school, as well as how she has used Hapara Workspace to lead PLCs that empower educators to implement and differentiate learning for all students in their learning communities and walk away with a deeper understanding of the curriculum they will teach.

About the Presenter

Louise is a primary school teacher in Melbourne, Australia. The 2017 school year sees her as a Grade 5/6 Learning Leader and Leader of STEM Curriculum. She has a Master of Education which focused on contemporary Literacy practices and Inquiry based learning. Most recently, louise became a Hapara Champion Trainer. In her down town she plays basketball for the Geelong Supercats.
